TERMS OF USE

1. Who We Are

FanVerse (the "App") is operated by Future AI Labs Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms are an agreement between you and us. Installing or using the App means you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Who Can Use FanVerse

You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to enter a contract where you live. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Choose a username nobody could mistake for someone else's, keep your device credentials to yourself, and tell us at help@boxedupapp.com if you think someone else is using your account.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the App. That permanently removes your profile, published stories, likes and follows. A subscription is separate and must be cancelled through Apple.

4. Content Rules — Zero Tolerance

You will not publish, generate or send:

• Sexual content involving anyone under 18, or any character written or implied to be a minor. There is no context that excuses this. Accounts are closed on the first instance, and we report where the law requires it.
• Sexually explicit content of any kind. Every story on FanVerse is rated PG-13.
• Hate speech — slurs or dehumanising abuse directed at people on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation, including in dialogue.
• Harassment, bullying, threats, or content targeting a real identifiable person, including writing them into scenarios without their agreement.
• Real-world instructions for self-harm, suicide, disordered eating, weapons or drugs. Fiction about these subjects is allowed; instructions are not.
• Content that infringes someone's rights, including copying another person's writing and publishing it as your own.
• Spam, off-platform promotion, or attempts to manipulate Discover's ranking.
• Malware, scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to get around the App's limits, filters or quota.

5. Moderation, Reporting and Blocking

Stories, comments, usernames and profiles are checked automatically before they publish, and content that breaks the rules is refused. Anything that gets through can be reported from the ⋯ menu on the story or comment. Reporting also blocks the author, so you stop seeing them immediately. You can block anyone at any time.

We review reports within 24 hours. Content reported by enough separate people is hidden automatically while it is reviewed. We may remove content, hide it, or suspend or close an account, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken.

If we got it wrong, email help@boxedupapp.com and a person will look at it.

6. Your Stories

You keep ownership of what you write. By publishing a story to Discover you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host it, show it to other people in the App, and let them start their own version of it — which is what publishing to Discover does. That licence ends when you unpublish the story or delete your account, except for copies other people have already started from it.

Stories are generated with the help of an AI model. You are responsible for the setup you write. We do not claim ownership of what the model produces from it, and we cannot promise it is original or accurate.

7. Fan Fiction and Other People's Characters

FanVerse is for fan fiction, which means writing about characters somebody else created. You are responsible for making sure what you publish is lawful where you are. We respond to rights-holder complaints: if you own a copyright or trade mark and believe something on FanVerse infringes it, write to help@boxedupapp.com with the work, the material you are complaining about, and your contact details, and we will act on it.

8. Subscriptions and Payment

FanVerse Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. Manage or cancel it in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

9. Availability and Termination

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of FanVerse. You may stop using it at any time. We may terminate your access if you break these Terms. Sections 6, 10 and 12–18 survive termination.

10. Acknowledgement

This agreement is between you and Future AI Labs Ltd only, and not with Apple. Future AI Labs Ltd, not Apple, is solely responsible for FanVerse and its content. This agreement does not provide for usage rules for FanVerse that conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

11. Scope of Licence

The licence granted to you for FanVerse is a limited, non-transferable licence to use it on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

12. Maintenance and Support

Future AI Labs Ltd is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for FanVerse, as specified in these Terms or as required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services.

13. Warranty

Future AI Labs Ltd is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of FanVerse to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App to you; to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to FanVerse.

14. Product Claims

Future AI Labs Ltd, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to FanVerse or your possession and use of it, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that FanVerse fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.

15. Intellectual Property Rights

In the event of any third-party claim that FanVerse or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Future AI Labs Ltd, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any such claim.

16. Third-Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that upon your acceptance of them Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

17. Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

18. Liability and Governing Law

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FanVerse is provided as is, and Future AI Labs Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
