Tuned Up is a music card collecting game where you open packs, collect cards featuring your favourite artists, trade on a live marketplace, and compete in mini-games. This guide covers everything you need to know to get started.
Getting Started
Download the app from the App Store or Google Play. It's free to download and play.
Create an account by tapping the Account button and entering your email. You'll receive a verification code. Once verified, you'll get bonus coins and access to the marketplace for trading with other players.
Opening Packs
Packs (or boxes) are how you get new cards. Use coins to buy packs from the store. There are different tiers of packs — more expensive ones have better odds of containing rare cards. Each pack reveals a set of music cards with varying rarities, from common all the way to epic.
Understanding Rarity
Cards come in several rarity tiers:
- Common — easy to find, great for gem trades
- Rare — a step up in value and desirability
- Super Rare — harder to pull, solid trade value
- Ultra Rare — highly sought after by collectors
- Epic — the rarest cards in standard packs
Rarity is based on real-world factors like the artist's popularity and the album's cultural impact. Higher rarity means higher market value.
The Marketplace
The marketplace is where you buy and sell cards with other players using coins. Before listing a card, search for similar ones to get a feel for the going price. If your card doesn't sell after a few hours, relist it at a slightly lower price. Savvy players can make a profit by buying undervalued cards and reselling them at fair market price.

- Daily challenges — complete these every day for coins, gems, and XP
- Mini-games — test your music knowledge to earn coins
- VS battles — compete against the computer to fill reward boxes
- Gem trades — trade cards of specific rarities for blue, purple, or orange gems
- Marketplace flipping — buy low, sell high
Season Pass
The Season Pass tracks your progress through XP levels. Earn XP by completing challenges, playing games, and trading. As you level up, you unlock rewards like coins, gems, and exclusive packs. A new season starts regularly with fresh challenges and rewards.
Weekly Drops
Every week there's a special limited-edition drop. These packs usually cost gems and can contain rare numbered cards that aren't available anywhere else. Keep an eye on the app and save your gems for these drops.
